Adam is the founder of Surveillance Detection and a nationally recognized expert in technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) and digital forensics. With over three decades of federal law enforcement service as a career senior officer with the U.S. Treasury Department and a founding member of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Adam brings an insider’s perspective very few can match. He pioneered the government’s Title 3 electronic intercept and tracking programs in the agency’s New York Field Office and led a tactical clandestine operations unit that executed hundreds of high-risk, high-profile surreptitious entries. Before retiring, Adam served as a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Covert Technology Review Board in Washington, D.C., where he evaluated and authorized the use of advanced technical surveillance tools for national operations. Today, he leverages that experience to uncover the very threats he once deployed.
